MX1100 Card Personalization System
Datacard MX1100 card personalization system is an inexpensive solution designed for the needs of medium-volume card issuers, e.g. banks and credit unions. This system offers the latest and most popular technologies for personalizing plastic cards: microprocessor programming, magnetic stripe encoding, thermal printing of graphics and text, laser engraving, embossing and topping, but also the latest addition: Durable Graphics printing technology.
MX1100 is offered in the following factory-designed configurations, intended for the most common card issuing programs:
- Graphics – dual-side monochrome thermal printing;
- Embossing – printing emboss or indent characters on cards;
- Laser – dual-side laser engraving of text, graphics, barcodes etc.;
- Metal – dual-side laser engraving of metal cards;
- Metal & Plastic – plastic cards embossing and metal cards laser engraving.
The above listed configurations can be additionally modified at the production stage by adding, for example, data recording on a magnetic stripe and microprocessor, monochrome and color printing. MX1100 can be expanded with the MXD111 and MXi115 card distribution and envelope insertion systems, creating a complete line that personalizes cards and puts them into envelopes ready for delivery to customers.
