Certified consumables featuring Intelligent Supplies Technology™ are specifically designed to optimize the performance of MX Series card personalization systems. They use patented radio frequency identification (RFID) technology to send information to a system that recognizes a given material and launches a number of tools aimed at increasing efficiency and minimizing the cost of personalization per individual card. A special feature that at first glance distinguishes the original Datacard materials are blue cores with metallic flakes.
